ABOUT

The idea is simple – either get rid of plastic straws completely or provide a straw only when requested by a customer. If they want one, all they have to do is ask. It’s that easy.

Why? Because billions of straws are discarded every year, filtering into landfill and littering the oceans. This is extremely detrimental to the environment, as plastics can’t biodegrade, they last indefinitely – breaking down into smaller pieces, feeding into the food chain and potentially ending up on our dinner plates. Not ideal.

By only providing plastic straws when requested, we can significantly reduce the disposal of single use plastic. Such a simple action will not only save on overheads, it will have incredibly positive and far reaching effects on our planet.
